Handover
Handover is a presenter file upload system for conferences and events. Presenters use a simple link to send slides and presentation files ahead of their session, and organisers can track each upload.
What you get
- Presenters upload slides and presentation files through a link, up to 2 GB per file.
- Organisers set an upload deadline before each session.
- During the cutoff window, uploads are blocked and presenters are directed to speaker check-in. A presenter can still upload by confirming they accept the risk and agree to bring a hard copy.
- A live status page for each event shows uploaded presenters in green and those who have not uploaded in red. Open a presenter row to see the original file name, upload time and file size.
- Presenters receive reminders and a receipt confirming their file arrived.
Clear event upload status
The event status page shows who has uploaded and who has not. Open a presenter’s row to view the original file name, upload time and file size.
How it works
Step 1
Presenters upload their files
Presenters receive a link and upload their slides and presentation files before their session.
Step 2
Organisers watch the status
Organisers use the event status page to see who has uploaded. Presenters receive reminders and an upload receipt.
Step 3
Late files go to speaker check-in
After the deadline, presenters are directed to speaker check-in. They can still upload if they confirm they accept the risk and will bring a hard copy.
Recording the sessions too? Handover pairs with Conference Recording for conferences.
